About The Designer
Silah began as a personal search for clothing that felt honest, calm, and true. For Jumana Abusalah, fashion has always been a way to understand herself, to express identity with intention.
When she chose to wear the hijab, she struggled to find pieces that reflected her minimal, modern, expressive, yet fully modest. Nothing felt aligned. Nothing felt like home.
So she began creating what she couldn't find. Pieces shaped by an architect's eye rooted in proportion, restraint, and purpose. Clothing that doesn't speak loudly, but speaks deeply.
Silah is the name for what she was always looking for. صِلة — connection. Between who she is and what she wears. Between modesty and modernity. Between fashion and real life.
